انجمن علوم سیاسی ایران در بیانیهای به مناسبت جنگ رمضان و دفاع ملی ایرانیان بر لزوم تلاش همگانی برای حفظ نظم پایدار سیاسی و بهرهگیری دقیق از آموزههای علم سیاست و دانش روابط بینالملل برای پرهیز از بروز بحران و فجایع بیشتر تاکید کرد.
به گزارش خبرگزاری صداوسیما ، در بیانیه انجمن علوم سیاسی ایران به مناسبت جنگ رمضان و دفاع ملی آمده است: زمانی که عقلانیت از جهان سیاست رخت برمیبندد و ذهنیت سیاستورزان خشونتگرا، روند تکامل عقلایی تاریخ را با اختلال مواجه میسازد فجایعی بروز میکنند که موجب روییدن پرسشهایی ژرف در زندگی نوین اجتماعی میشوند. پرسشهایی که تنها با پاسخگویی به آنها میتوان راه را برای بازگشت زیستجهان سیاسی به مسیر طبیعی خود هموار ساخت. در صدر این پرسشها این سؤال قرار دارد که تا چه زمانی جوامع مستقل قربانی سیاستمداران خشونتطلبی خواهند شد که قواعد عقلایی را نمیشناسند و همه چیز را فدای سوداگریهای لحظهای خود میکنند؟
بیشتر دانشمندان علوم سیاسی دستکم دو دهه است ضمن آسیبشناسی و ریشهیابی معضلات بنیادی کشور، بر لزوم تغییرات اساسی که ایران سرفراز را در فضای پر تلاطم بینالمللی حفظ کند و با حرکت در مسیر توسعه، رفاه ملی و ارتقا جایگاه بینالمللی را به ارمغان آورد، اصرار ورزیده و راهکار ارائه کردهاند؛ زیرا سایه شوم جنگ را حس میکردند. اما این بار تهاجم عقلگریران عرصه جهانی رویدادی بیهمتا، اما تأسفبار را رقم زد.
ایران به مثابه گهواره تمدن بشری و آموزگار مدنیت و عقلانیت در تاریخ، هدف تاخت و تاز فاجعهآفرینانی قرار گرفته است که تمامی قواعد و قوانین بینالمللی مدرن را برای خواستههای زودگذر و سلطهگری عریان خود زیرپا مینهند. حملات سبعانه خشونتطلبترین رژیمهای سیاسی جهان امروز مردمانی را هدف قرار داده که جز استقلال و زندگی آزادنه چیزی نخواستهاند. در این حملات سبعانه از رهبری فرهیخته تا کودکان بیگناه قربانی قدرتجویان متوهمی شدند که حقوق بنیادین انسانها برای آنها محلی از اعراب ندارد.
در این جنگ زنان و کودکان و دلاوران، قربانی قدرتجویی و سوداگری بیپایان خشونتطلبانی شدند که جهان صلحآمیز را برنمیتابند و آخرین تلاشهای خود را برای ممانعت از ورود عالم به عصر عقلانیت و انسانیت را انجام میدهند. در برابر فجایع برآمده از این یورش ناجوانمردانه تاریخ به نشانۀ شرم سر در گریبان کرده، اما شهادت میدهد که کنش خشونتآمیز هرگز به سرانجام نخواهد رسید.
ایرانیان بار دیگر نشان دادهاند که تسلیم جنگ و خشونت نخواهند شد و با ایستادگی حماسی خود برگ مهمی در تحولات جهانی رقم زده و پرچمدار پایان هژمونی اقتدارگرایان در عرصۀ بینالمللی خواهند شد و دریچههای جهان را به سوی گریز از سلطهجویی و سوداگری خواهند گشود.
انجمن علوم سیاسی ایران ضمن تسلیت به مناسبت شهادت عزیزان جاویدنام و پرواز کودکان معصوم به ویژه کودکان مدرسه میناب، بر لزوم تلاش همگانی برای حفظ نظم پایدار سیاسی تأکید میکند و همچون همیشه بر لزوم توجه و بهرهگیری دقیق از آموزههای علم سیاست و دانش روابط بینالملل برای پرهیز از بروز بحران و فجایع بیشتر تأکید میکند؛ و از تصمیمگیران کشور دعوت میکند برای خروج از بحران و بازسازی نظم سیاسی جامعه به راهکارهای برخاسته از تأملات استادان و پژوهشگران علوم سیاسی و روابط بینالملل بیش از پیش توجه کرده و از آنها برای برساختن آینده ایران که فصلی جدید در تاریخ جهان گشوده، بهره گیرند.

Letter to the American Political Science Association
To the Esteemed Members of the American Political Science Association,
As you are well aware, political science has long served as a discipline guiding humanity out of deep impasses. It has nurtured rationality and insight that have contributed to a profound reduction in violence and the emergence of higher forms of political order. Yet, there have been moments in history when those holding the reins of major powers, disregarding the accumulated wisdom of political science and international relations, have led the world toward violence and the sacrifice of human lives.
A world that was gradually progressing toward sustainable peace now faces sweeping crises born of the war-making tendencies of such profiteers. While modern history had shown the steady advance of societies toward rationalization, their contemporary actions have gravely disrupted this process. The systematic violation of international norms and efforts to dismantle institutions that, since the end of World War II, have safeguarded global peace and order are clear signs of this dangerous regression.
The recent all-out military assault on Iran by the United States and Israel, conducted in clear violation of legal and ethical standards governing warfare—through targeted assassinations of political leaders amid negotiations, and through indiscriminate attacks that have killed innocent women and children in schools, hospitals, homes, and markets—represents a dramatic unraveling of the global order.
Iran—one of the ancient cradles and teachers of civilization—has become the target of unprecedented attacks. In our interconnected world of global networks and mutual dependencies, initiating a war of such vast and open-ended dimensions cannot be justified under any defensible principle of international law or morality.
Dear colleagues, the ongoing military campaign by the U.S. –Israeli coalition has moved far beyond the bounds of a conventional operation; it has become an unrestrained assault on the urban and civilizational structures of the Iranian people. You may already know that even historical monuments from pre-Islamic, Islamic, and modern eras—heritages of Middle Eastern civilization—have suffered severe damage in these relentless strikes. Amid this “war of narratives,” we are witnessing the systematic concealment of oppression and humanitarian catastrophe. These asymmetric attacks are intensifying daily, threatening to obliterate Iran’s constitutional system, national identity, and developmental achievements.
From the standpoint of just war principles, it must be recognized that the Iranian people, citizens, and nascent civil institutions must not be conflated with ruling ideologies. The potential loss of Iran’s long-standing achievements in constitutionalism, rule of law, freedom, equality, and industrial and economic modernization—fruits of over ۱۵۰ years of civic struggle and multiple wars against foreign aggressors (Ottoman, Russian, British, and Iraqi) alongside internal struggles against despotism—poses a grave danger to regional stability and human progress alike.
For decades, the Iranian Political Science Association (IPSA) —comprising scholars and educators of political science and international relations—has been a steadfast advocate of non-violence, democracy, and respect for international norms in both domestic and global contexts. Thus, the members of this Association, while expressing gratitude for the clear, scholarly, and critical positions taken by many of our international colleagues in condemning acts of violence, call upon members of the American Political Science Association to raise their voices against the ongoing atrocities of war and to stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in their historic endeavor to preserve national sovereignty, territorial integrity, liberty, and the institutional foundations of constitutional republicanism.
